Friday saw the latest Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) numbers released for the quarter in the Advertising and Marketing Technology sectors. The Drum reported Friday on Results International’s report showing that 108 deals were done which was in fact the 3rd highest on record (http://goo.gl/H0UYh3).
This activity is indeed in contrast to the recent wider Global M&A data collated by principal database Zephyr who revealed that both the volume and value of global mergers and acquisitions dropped in Q1 2016, following a very busy 2015 (http://goo.gl/YYRyK6).
This buoyant Ad Tech and MarTech sector M&A activity is perhaps encouraging for owners of UK tech companies who have exit ambitions or plans to acquire new parts to complement their businesses.
